November 3, 2015 - Session 8
The OCM will discuss its challenge list, its survey, and its motivational ideas with high school students.
The intended outcome is to determine the degree to which the course’s findings actually serve the students for whom it is designed.
Activity 21 The OCM will meet (in groups) with students who have read the list of challenges, the survey, and the motivational ideas designed by the class. The groups will discuss with and pose their questions to these students to measure the validity and motivational value of their work. (60 minutes)
Activity 22 The OCM will recommend revisions to its work so that the survey can be published and so that the list of future challenges/tomorrow’s problems and motivational ideas can be shared on the course website. (30 minutes)
Activity 23 Homework: Volunteers will publish the class survey and update the website with the (revised) future challenges/tomorrow’s problems and motivational ideas.
